Dear Angel & Hernder staff, ***************************************** Hi Angel! I just wanted to send you a HUGE THANK YOU for everything you did to make our wedding at Hernder absolutely perfect!!! Everything went so smoothly thanks to your hard work beforehand and Penny's hard work the night of! We had so many guests comment on how it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, especially because of a delicious meal, a fabulous group of staff working that night, and a beautiful venue! We visited the winery in a snow storm and knew even then that the grounds were beautiful. One guest said it was the nicest venue they had ever attended a wedding at. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal and of coarse the wine. We will definitely recommend Hernder as an excellant venue for a special occasion. Hello Angel (not sure of Penny's email so please forward this to her as well) Thank you so much for all the hard work put in my the two of you to make our wedding an absolute success. The day was absolutely perfect. Even though it rained, I think it turned out for the better. our ceremony (which each and every one of our guests showed up to) felt so private and intimate in the Alexis room. I was overwhelmed when the door opened and saw so many people packed in there. It was amazing. When the ceremony ended, so did the rain - just in time for outdoor pictures. Thank you Penny for making everyone go where they were supposed to. I couldn't imagine having to do that all myself. All the fine detail planning before the day and the organization of Penny really showed that everyone at Hernder takes pride in what they do. I couldn't believe when I walked in the Victoria room that the Christmas lights had all been fixed over night. Thank you so much! All in all, our day was perfect and we could not have done it without each and every one of you at Hernder. Every one of our guests loved the food and venue and said it definitely topped their list of weddings!! Thank you all for the perfect day. I have attached a few pictures for you all to see. April H April 15, 2011 ***************************************** Dear Angel and the Staff at Hernder’s, Tony and I would like to thank you for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! Everything was absolutely perfect down to the finest detail. Penny was so amazing right from the very beginning, we had an ill father of the bride and a groom who forgot his handkerchief and a few other things that Penny took care of so that I didn’t have to worry about it. Everyone at the wedding spoke of how wonderful Pastor John, Penny and Craig were long after the wedding. Pastor John did such a wonderful job on the ceremony and many guests have since told us that, that was the best ceremony that they have ever attended. Pastor John took the time to take my father on a tour of Hernder’s Estate Wines since my dad had not been there prior to the wedding. This spoke volumes about that type of place Hernder’s is and the whole team that makes it this way. A number of the guests are still talking about the food and how delicious everything was which makes Tony and I very happy. The food was amazing and my only regret is that I couldn’t eat more of it since my dress had me a bit constricted but I am happy that all that attended got to enjoy the many food options. The music was fantastic and the DJ played the majority of our requests from the playlist and everyone had a great time dancing the night away. Angel was unbelievable from the moment we met her! We had checked into other venues but after going to Hernder’s and meeting with Angel, we would not have been happy having our special day anywhere else. Angel made us feel so at ease in trusting that we would not have to worry about a thing, and we didn’t. The service at Hernder’s was impeccable and we truly are grateful to everyone there. We had been to Hernder’s so many times prior to the wedding to look around and bring our parents at different times. Each and every time, we had the pleasure of seeing and talking to Beverly in the boutique. She had done wine tasting with us and helped us choose the wine for our day. Every time we came in, she knew who we were and made us feel so important. It was an absolute pleasure speaking with Beverly every time we visited. The guests were speaking of Craig long after the wedding as well, everyone enjoyed him so much and he truly made all of our guests feel special. Craig and Penny went well beyond expectations throughout the entire day/night and left an impression on everyone there. We knew from the first time we visited Hernder’s what a beautiful place it was! We learned that on top of a truly beautiful place for a wedding, there is an amazing staff/team that provides a service like no other. Please know that we have heard from so many guests that this was the best wedding that they had ever attended and we know that the team at Hernder’s had a huge part in that. We have already joked about a renewal of vows there for our 25th anniversary (it could happen). We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives and the best wedding that our guests had ever attended. First off, thank you so very much for everything that you and the Hernder staff did to make our wedding such a special occasion. It was, in a word, perfect. As you know, 95% of our guests were from out of town, and they were enthralled with the entire winery experience! The setting was perfect, and it was everything I had imagined our day to be. Heck, I'll even give you credit for the perfect weather! All of the staff that we dealt with during the planning process and on the big day were wonderful - they were always present without being obtrusive, and any questions that anyone had were dealt with quickly and graciously by Chelsea. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to her directly. The food and the wine were outstanding, and the late-night opening of the wine store was a big hit with our guests. Thank you so much for offering that option to those who did not get a chance to visit the store before the ceremony.
